Times Tables:
Each week the children are set a times table to practise for a quiz on Friday. They can learn this in any way they feel helps them. They also have a login in for Times Table Rockstars, which will further aid their progress in learning all their times tables.

Spellings:
We assign the children's weekly spellings from the National Curriculum's Year 3/4 spelling list. We teach these by recognising the spelling rule that is associated with the words (e.g. words ending in 'ure', like measure). This enables them to use these rules to aid them with spelling other words with these rules, rather than just the words on the list.
Children can learn these spellings in any way they feel helps them, e.g. Look, Cover, Write, Check, Animating the words with their meanings, Writing in alternate colours etc.

Reading:
Please try and read every night. Wednesday is our Buster's Night, try and read for at least 20 minutes.
Any extra homework will be loaded onto our class Dojo. Every child should have taken home a login.
