Week ending 22 November 2019
Well done DARWIN Class for achieving the highest attendance this week!
At Barton Junior School, we run an Attendance Challenge each year. Children that achieve 100% attendance at the end of the school year either receive a special prize or go on an attendance reward trip. Certificates for children achieving 100%, 99% or 98% attendance at the end of the academic year are celebrated in an assembly and each awarded a certificate.
We appreciate that it is not always possible to attend every day for a whole year as sometimes their can be unavoidable appointments children have to attend or legitimate illness, so we also run an attendance challenge throughout the school year. Children achieving 100% attendance for a whole term receive a treat in school, such as hot chocolate and a movie or an ice cream party. So don't worry if you missed out last term, you can try again this term!
