BackTerm 3 Attendance Challenge:
Attendance Challenge
At Barton Junior School, we run an Attendance Challenge each year. Children that achieve 100% attendance at the end of the school year either receive a special prize or go on an attendance reward trip. Certificates for children achieving 100%, 99% or 98% attendance at the end of the academic year are celebrated in an assembly and each awarded a certificate.
We appreciate that it is not always possible to attend every day for a whole year as sometimes their can be unavoidable appointments children have to attend or legitimate illness, so we also run other attendance challenges throughout the school year.
Children achieving 100% attendance for a whole term receive a treat in school, such as hot chocolate and a movie or an ice cream party. So don't worry if you missed out last term, you can try again this term!
