Welcome to Year 4

Term 1 - On top of the world

Children investigate physical and human features with a focus on mountains and mountain ranges. They consolidate and develop their understanding of different word classes and apply a broader range of figurative language.

Some of our 'wow' moments will include a visit from a famous mountaineer, making flapjacks and river dipping. 

 

Our forest school day this term is Monday, please wear old clothes and ideally wellies and don't forget your school uniform to change into after your session. 

 

P.E. Day - Wednesday

 

Our P.E. day this term is Wednesday. Please make sure you have the correct P.E. clothes (blue/black shorts or tracksuit bottoms and a white polo) with you and trainers and make sure your earrings are out ready for the lesson. Just a reminder, earrings and a watch are the only items of jewellery that the children should be wearing to school.
