Welcome to Year 5, Term 1!

This term our topic is Wild, Wild World!

We have lots of exciting activites planned :-

16th September (Phileas Fogg) 19th September (Wilbur) - Natural History workshop, "Volcano Town" focusing on natural disasters.

17th September - Meet the teachers coffee morning 9-9.30 in the school canteen & we look forward to seeing you there!

26th September - Hello Earth workshop.

Science/ DT/ Geography Day researching and building earthquake proof structures.

 

P.E. Day - Thursday

Please can earrings be taken out for this day.

 

 

Homework:

Please encourage children to practise their times tables using Times Tables Rockstars:

Weekly spellings  using Spelling Shed: edshed.com and they will have a weekly worksheet

Please can children read at home at least 3 times per week and be signed by an adult.
