Welcome to Year 5, Term 4 !

This term our topic is Beyond Britain!

We have lots of exciting activites planned :-

Week 1 - Full immersion week on the Maya. Maya drama and handling artefacts.

Week 2 - World Book Day! Making Mayan Hot Chocolate and Mayan Eye weaving

Week 3 - Dance festival at Astor(for selected pupils)

               Science Week 

Week 5 - Full immersion week on the Benin. Visit by KIC theatre workshop.

 

P.E. Day - Monday

Please can earrings be taken out for this day.

Please encourage children to practise their times tables using Times Tables Rockstars:

Weekly spellings  using Spelling Shed: edshed.com and they will have a weekly worksheet

Please can children read at home at least 3 times per week and be signed by an adult.
