Welcome to Year 3, Term 5!

Biome in a box

In this topic we will be learning about biomes around the world including the different plants and animals found there. This will link in with our science topic of plants where we will explore the structure and importance of flowering plants. We will also find out how some plants have adapted to survive in different biomes. 

Some of our WOW moments will be sharing our picture books with the children from Shatterlocks, creating our own biome in a jar, enjoying a trip to our local river to explore the wildlife there and a trip to Living Land. 

P.E. Day - Wednesday

Children need to have their PE kits in school to take part. For safety, please make sure earrings are removed before school on Wednesdays.
