Year 3

Summer Reading Challenge

We hope you are well and have been continuing to read.  We would like to share with you The 'Silly Squad' Summer Reading Challenge 2020. Kent Libraries have been setting summer reading challenges for a few years and it gives children a chance to read some fantastic books and take part in other fun activities too.  This year, as the libraries are not open at the moment, they have decided to do it online.  Please read the information in the document below to access free online Ebooks, Eaudio books as well as lots of fun activities to download.  Happy reading!

Best wishes

Term 6

Year 3, we hope you are all keeping safe and well.  This would have been the start of Term 6 with our topic of "The Great Outdoors" We have seen from many of your emails that you have been outside enjoying the area in which you live, we have really enjoyed seeing what you have been up to so thank you for keeping us updated.

We appreciate that home learning is sometimes difficult so please do not worry if you cannot complete all the activities.  You and your families wellbeing during this stressful time is what is important.

We will continue to add our weekly plans to our homework page.

Best wishes

Home Learning

Welcome to Term 5 Year 3, we hope that you are all keeping safe.  As of Monday 20th April we will be updating our homework page with a weekly timetable of Maths, English and Topic tasks for you to do at home.

Parents and Carers, we understand that completing all of the work during these difficult times may be hard to achieve so please do as much as you are able.  Your child's wellbeing is paramount so please do not feel pressured to accomplish everything. If you have any questions please email us or if the children just want to say hi it would be lovely to hear from them too. They could also email us pictures of work they are proud of or something that they have made and we can share it on our website.

We hope you and your families are safe and well.

Mr Brett and Mrs Boughtwood

During the school closures, children can contact Mr Brett and Mrs Boughtwood on the following emails:
