Year 5 have already learnt so much about their new history topic of the Ancient Mayans. They have taken part in part activities, food tasting and a virtual drama workshop from One Day Creative workshops.

They set sail to Mesoamerica and learnt about the ancient Mayan civilisation, culture, gods and the importance of the cocoa bean.

Using their knowledge they even made their own hot chocolate from cocoa beans.. yummy!
